Q Ginger is one of the more unique ginger ales we’ve sampled. The ginger flavor is full, but not in your face. There is a fabulous mixture of rose and orange flavors which has to be experienced to be believed. There’s a definite heat and spice are present, which lingers after drinking. However, unlike most hot ginger ales, Q Ginger’s spice is never painful or unpleasant. It is perfectly strong, yet gentle. read more…

Reed’s Premium Ginger Brew is an exotic variety to say the least. It has over 17 grams of fresh ginger, which amounts to a powerful ginger flavor. Unlike most strong ginger ales, this drink does not have a long aftertaste or overly spicy feeling (although there is some heat). It gives off an earthy aroma, with a hint of pineapple and honey as the only sweeteners. Although this drink is not going to replace your everyday ginger ale, it is certainly worth checking out — of the ‘natural-brew’ variety. read more…

It is DRY. Extra Dry. And one of the most complex flavors around. Each sip seems different. It’s so dry, the flavor doesn’t really hit you initially. Lingering ginger flavor, with a hint of citrus. Not overly powerful ginger flavor, but it’s there. First taste can be very fruity, but the dryness cuts it as you drink the beverage. read more…
